Hot tubs and any other over-sized items that do not fit in Convenience Center containers may be disposed of by Wake County residents at the South Wake Landfill but will be subject to posted tipping fees ( South Wake Landfill fees).Hazardous waste, such as chemicals, batteries, oil-based paints, fire extinguishers, mercury thermometers (accepted at Household Hazardous Waste Facilities).Fluorescent light bulbs (accepted at Household Hazardous Waste Facilities).Flammables, such as gas, fuel, oil, kerosene (accepted at Household Hazardous Waste Facilities).
